Debra, l am heart broken for her story and l am hoping to hear a happy development every day. On the other hand, l hear nothing but this news on CNN, the US network that we have at home. It is like all other news ended and there is nothing else to report. Is it because when it bleeds it leads??
i could be wrong but i think this was kidnapping gone wrong . She was seen as an easy mark but it turned out she was sickly and fragile. With the blood stains at the entrance Mrs Guthrie was hurt or wounded. Without her medicine she is or was at risk for a major medical event. Naturally i hope for her rescue and survival. And no matter what conclusion this affair has i hope the authorities get their man and bring him ton justice.
